8oz Celery (diced)
4oz Green Pepper (diced)
2 Tbsp Garlic
2fl oz Veggie Oil
6oz Bread Crumbs
1pt Tomato juice
4lbs ground beef, turkey
4lbs ground pork
4 eggs (beaten)
1 Tbsp Salt
1 Tbsp Black Pepper
4 Tbsp Parsley (Chopped)
3 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
As needed Ketchup
- Saute the onions, celery, green pepper, and garlic in the oil until tender. Remove from pan and set aside to cool.
- Combine all the ingredients except for the ketchup and mix well. (Your hands are the best for mixing, be sure to use gloves)
- From into loaves of the desired size and put into loaf pans.
- Brush the top of each loaf with ketchup. Bake at 350 until the loaf reaches an internal temp of 165 about 1 hour for a 9 inch X 5 inch loaf pan.
- Allow loaves to rest for about 20 mins before slicing.
